The Entertainer described as "Real Entertainment". You might like to listen to Jonathan's latest recording of him as a pianist and arranger: Called The Entertainer the disc includes two lively Scott Joplin sequences, the other being the Maple Leaf Rag. The dexterity and variety in his playing comes across in pieces like Gershwin's Summertime, Hubert Bath's Cornish Rhapsody and Weill's Mack the Knife. The variety takes us from In the Mood through Debussy's Clair de lune and Dohnanyi's capricious concert Etude to the sheer tour de force of Rimsky Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee. The disc is real entertainment. Cornish Guardian Wednesday 13 June 2007
