Jonathan became a Christian at the age of eight and since twelve he has regularly been involved in church music. Jonathan is now the musical director at Grace Community Church - an FIEC church near Looe, Cornwall. As well as playing regularly at Grace Community Church, Jonathan is available to help with events for other evangelical churches or organisations. If necessary, Jonathan can provide a small PA system and, depending on the availability of different musicians, he can provide a music group for these occassions. Please e-mail for further details.
Outreach Concerts
J S Bach said "Music's only purpose should be the glory fo God and the recreation of the human spirit". Jonathan seeks to use music to help others worship God and also to share the good news of the Gospel with others. His "Outreach concert" is a unique way of reaching out to the community... often using music people will know and be able to relate to. These concerts have taken various formats from a FREE evening of jazz and classical piano music with a short reference to Jonathan's Christian faith to an illustrated lecture on composers and their faith. Many people have commented that they have been able to bring friends to these concerts who would never normally step inside a church building. Recently Jonathan was involved in a series of outreach concerts in Falmouth and as a result of these concerts 10 people attended a course in basic Christianity and 5 of these now regularly go to church.
