With a special focus on English piano music, Jonathan often performs on his beautifully restored 1814 Broadwood Square Piano, offering a unique and immersive musical experience.
As a sought-after accompanist, Jonathan collaborates with professional musicians, choirs, and exam candidates across the country. His expertise and musical sensitivity ensure seamless performances for auditions, exams, and concerts.
In 2016, Jonathan founded the South Somerset Community Choir, which has since grown to over 50 members. This vibrant group performs a variety of music, from show tunes to popular songs and jazz standards. Jonathan also directs the Ilminster Belles, a dynamic ladies’ choir, and Mosaica, a smaller ensemble specialising in unaccompanied choral music.
A passionate advocate for local music, Jonathan established the South Somerset Music Centre in 2024, creating a dynamic hub for the community with concerts, workshops, masterclasses, and more.
